California State University, Bakersfield

California State University, Bakersfield is a Hispanic Serving Institution within the California State University system. The university was established in 1965 and serves about 11,500 students annually. They are also a NCAA Division I school.

Tuskegee University

Tohono O’odham Community College

Tohono O’odham Community College is a vocational two-year college aimed to serve the local community through hands on learning and training. The youngest of the tribal colleges, they share curriculum resources with Pima Community College in order to better prepare students for a global society.

Stone Child College

Stone Child College was established in 1984, out of a direct need to preserve the cultural identify Chippewa Cree Tribe people through vocational and professional development. The college prepares its students for further education, and to become the community leaders of the future.

Haskell Indian Nations University

Haskell Indian Nations University currently has a population of about 1,000 students. They are an inter-tribal university working to instill values of self-determination and self-governance in their students to become better social and cultural leaders of tomorrow.

College of Menominee Nation

The College of Menominee Nation was established in 1993, and aims to foster life-long learning in its students as well as the ability for students to become the judicious and wise leaders needed to uplift their tribal communities.
