About Dodge City Community College

Dodge City Community College began in 1935 during the challenges of the Great Depression, focused on providing opportunities for higher education at an affordable price in an accessible location. It was, and still is, “the people’s college … available to all.” Today, DC3 is a technically modern campus, complete with both face-to-face and online courses, a variety of athletics and student clubs, and comfortable accommodations for students who live on campus. Whether they are on a direct path from college to career or looking for a starting point for a four-year education, students can count on Dodge City Community College to help them achieve their goals. It will continue to meet the changing needs of the students and community and will remain committed to what matters most – its mission to prepare students for a brighter future, for themselves, and for their communities.
